Readings is an independent retailer of books, with nine shops operating in Melbourne. Designed by Kerstin Thompson Architects, Readings Chadstone is a sanctuary for booklovers. There’s an intimate events area for author talks and a large kids’ section. The centrepiece of the shop is a stunning lantern designed by local artist Edward Linacre and made by recycling misprinted books.
